Important Information:
When arriving to orientation you will meet in room 143 in the lower level of Ivy Tech Kosciusko County. There will be signs to point you in the right direction.
Items needed:
- If you are 18 years or older, bring your current ID, SS# Card. If you dont have a SS# please schedule an appointment with the Social Security Office in Elkhart. It does take 3-4 weeks to arrive. We will accept a Birth Certificate and a W-2 form to very your SS#. Exceptions will not be made, we apologize for that.
- If you are a minor, bring your current ID, SS# Card, your withdrawal form (Exit Form) from your previous school, and your parent/guardian. Parents only need to attend orientation for no more than an hour. Parents are welcome to wait in student lounge or come back once student is finished with New Student Orientation.
Orientation is a two day requirement. We have testing both days and this determines your Individual Learning Plan. If you miss a day you will be asked to return at the next orientation opportunity, no exceptions. We will announce class schedules based on availability, not everyone that attends orientation will be called back for class right away.
